I was looking for overcast conditions to try the Nikon D800e in a different type of light. Thursday morning turned out to be worth while with dramatic storm clouds, quite a nice session 2 weeks before Iceland.
I’ve been willing to photograph this place for quite some time: Cape Woolamai, at the southeast end of Phillip Island, Victoria. This landscape reminds me of the great southwest with its sculpted rock formations, except maybe for the cold temperatures. From the cliffs you can feel the powerful winds coming up the Bass straight.
